No, Codam is NOT a Bootcamp. It is a full-time study that requires at least 40 hours a week to complete and is a 2 years program.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Students can finalize the curriculum in two years. Some students can move at a faster pace when they can dedicate a lot of time to their studies or when they have expansive coding experience before Codam.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Given our radically innovative approach to education, it is complicated to draw an exact comparison with traditional educational frameworks. To give you an idea, if you graduate from Codam Core your skills level can be compared with the level of a bachelor\u2019s graduate in Computer Science. Codam Advanced can be compared with the skill level of a master\u2019s graduate.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Absolutely. At Codam, while we don\u2019t follow a standard classroom model, we do use a system of project deadlines and paces to keep you on track:

Project Deadlines<\/strong>
Each set of project comes with a maximum completion time (a deadline). You choose which project in the milestone to do first, but you must finish all of them before your final deadline hits. This ensures regular progress and accountability.

Pace Intervals<\/strong>
You can choose your own pace on how quickly you'd like to finish the Core Curriculum (e.g., pace 8 mean finishing it within 8 months, pace 18 in 18 months, etc.). If you\u2019re on track with your deadlines, you can continue seamlessly. If you fall behind, you\u2019ll discuss options with staff or adjust your plan.

Peer-Learning & Evaluations<\/strong>
You learn from\u2014and with\u2014your peers. Projects are validated through peer evaluations and exams, ensuring you fully understand the material and can apply it practically.

Self-Guided Schedule
<\/strong>Outside of deadlines, you set your own hours. There\u2019s no \u201cclass time\u201d or mandatory seating. We only expect you to manage your progress responsibly and remain active within the community.

Yes, students receive a certificate when they graduate from Codam Core and later from Codam Advanced. Although these certificates are not officially recognized by the Dutch government, our high-quality curriculum, and our great reputation with companies, all Codam graduates have found a well-paid job (100%).<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Yes! Students are not charged before, during, or after their studies. The Sofronie Foundation funds the school. This is a private foundation set up and financed by Corinne Vigreux. Codam students are not bound to any corporations upon graduating and are allowed to apply and work for any company they want.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Following the success of the first school 42 in Paris, which was elected 'Best coding school of 2017', sister schools have been set up in Brussels (Le 19), Tokyo (42 Tokyo), Seoul (42 Seou;l), Kuala Lumpur (42 KL), Helsinki (Hive), Madrid (42), Sao Paolo (42), and many more. Due to our many international students, English is the most spoken language inside the building and on all official communication channels<\/strong>. Codam strives to be available and accessible to all its students. Therefore students are encouraged to come and go as they please, be it in the morning or late at night. Security systems are in place 24\/7 to keep the building secure.<\/p>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Yes! Like Codam, our sister schools are tuition-free and offer the same curriculum. However, students need to begin the curriculum on the same campus where they did their Selection Piscine.
