Codam kan hiermee een steentje bijdragen aan het ambitieuze Actieplan Groene en Digitale banen van de Ministeries van Onderwijs en Economische Zaken. Zij ontvangen gemiddeld een beoordeling van 4,6 op een schaal van \u00e9\u00e9n tot vijf. Deze positieve waardering vertaalt zich ook in een hoger gemiddeld startsalaris voor Codam-afgestudeerden, dat boven dat van universitair afgestudeerden ligt.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-a4f20b9 elementor-section-full_width elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default parallax_section_no qode_elementor_container_no\" data-id=\"a4f20b9\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-e67b34c\" data-id=\"e67b34c\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a6630de elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a6630de\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dit werkt ook voor Codam studenten. Afgestudeerden verdienen een hoger startsalaris. Na twee jaar opleiding verdienen alumni gemiddeld \u20ac 4.000 bruto per maand bij hun eerste baan als software engineer, terwijl WO afgestudeerden gemiddeld op \u20ac 3.740 bruto per maand uitkomen na vier jaar studeren.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d5d27a9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-bridge_blockquote\" data-id=\"d5d27a9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"bridge_blockquote.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=' with_quote_icon' style=''><i class='fa fa-quote-right' style='color: #B73188;'><\/i><h5 class='blockquote-text' style=''>Een bijkomend voordeel van een opleiding die niet docentgestuurd is, is dat het voor minder dan de helft van de kostprijs ingericht kan worden. Zo zijn de gemiddelde kosten van Codam \u20ac 5.957 per student per jaar, terwijl het instellingscollegegeld voor de Bacheloropleiding Informatica aan de Universiteit van Utrecht \u20ac 14.128 per jaar is.<\/h5><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-26a8f76 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"26a8f76\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Deze positieve resultaten versterken de doelstelling om technisch onderwijs toegankelijker te maken voor ondervertegenwoordigde groepen zoals vrouwen en jongeren zonder startkwalificaties. Aan de programmeerschool identificeert 29 procent van de studenten zich als vrouw of non-binair. Deze vertegenwoordiging is aanzienlijk hoger dan bijvoorbeeld die van de UvA, waar\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.studiekeuze123.nl\/opleidingen\/1570-informatica-universiteit-van-amsterdam-wo-bachelor\">slechts 7 procent van de eerstejaars studenten Informatica vrouw is<\/a>.<\/p><p>Corinne Vigreux, oprichter van Codam en mede-oprichter van navigatiebedrijf TomTom, vindt dat Codam bewijst dat het anders kan. \u201cDe overheid slaagt niet altijd in haar doelstelling om onderwijs toegankelijk te maken. Zeker binnen de IT-sector is dit prangend, er is niet alleen een enorm tekort aan geschikte mensen, maar ook een groot tekort aan diversiteit. Codams opleiding is van hoge kwaliteit en tegelijkertijd extreem laagdrempelig. We hebben geen toelatingseisen zoals een diploma en vragen ook niet om lesgeld. Dit zorgt ervoor dat Codam eerder ondervertegenwoordigde groepen in de IT bereikt, zoals vrouwen en schoolverlaters. Er is bij de opleiding bovendien aandacht voor de ontwikkeling van sociale vaardigheden zoals samenwerken en oplossingsgericht denken. In vijf jaar hebben we kunnen bewijzen dat Codams model werkt.\u201d<\/p><p>Uit het rapport blijkt dat veel Nederlandse topbedrijven profiteren van de door Codam opgeleide studenten. Zo\u2019n 90 procent van de bedrijven waar de studenten werkzaam zijn, is in Nederlandgevestigd. Dit benadrukt de sterke band tussen Codam en het Nederlandse bedrijfsleven. Inmiddels hebben meer dan 100 verschillende bedrijven Codam studenten aangenomen.<\/p><p>Co-Director Roos Peters merkt op dat het onderwijs- en maatschappelijk succes van Codam snel op te schalen is. \u201cHet knelpunt om meer studenten aan een opleiding te laten starten, ligt vaak aan het tekort aan docenten. De opleiding van Codam is niet docentgestuurd, waardoor het eenvoudiger is om de opleiding op te schalen. Je hebt in feite alleen meer studieplekken nodig. Het is jammer dat bedrijven noodgedwongen in het buitenland moeten zoeken naar IT-personeel terwijl wij meer studenten in Nederland zouden kunnen opleiden.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Et sal uta udi con sete tur est, ei dolore medi o crita tem quo.
