The Codam and 5voorhalf Compass Programme helps create career opportunities for talented people overlooked by the traditional education system.
Codam and 5voorhalf, the talent bureau in Amsterdam Zuidoost, are partnering up to offer Compass, a coaching and career-transition program for Codam students. The programme starts with 30 students and has the ambition to help more than 200.
Across the Netherlands, there are many ambitious, capable people who could build a career in tech but they never get the opportunity. People in communities, for example in Amsterdam Zuidoost, that are literally full of talent living on the doorstep of the large tech companies that really need them.
More about Compass
Compass is a personal development and coaching program to support Codam students in the transition from education to employment. Students work on a SWOT analysis and a personal development plan, so they understand their strengths, articulate their values and know where they are going. From there, it builds into one-to-one coaching sessions, peer-to-peer reviews, and tailored job market preparation.
