The team at Codam has supported 300 students in 2022 and continues to raise the percentage of females within the cohort. Currently females represent 31% of the student body. The pandemic did have an effect on our applications and the progress of our students, some did decide not to continue their study so during 2021 and 2022, strategies were in place to integrate and monitor activity so that the focus could be on improving their relationship with the environment and their peers. New systems have improved this focus and the environment is once again collaborative and dynamic. Improvements for 2023 include attracting more students to the Codam Advanced curriculum, a follow-on programme providing more depth and knowledge in five topic areas covering Graphics, AI, Web and mobile development, operating systems, and security. The 2022 graduation ceremony took place on 27 th September 2022, and we are pleased to report that all students found employment within 3 months and or continued into the Codam Advanced curriculum. The Codam team and their supporters continue to explore financial assistance for students in training who are not currently eligible for government schemes.
