Money should not stop you from learning tech
At Codam, your education is completely free. You don’t pay for classes, books, or computers. We do understand that a full-time study can still be financially challenging. You still need to pay rent, buy food, pay for travel, or a health insurance.
If you’re concerned about finances, Codam can help. We offer monthly financial assistance and housing support for students who can show us they need it.

We believe that everyone deserves a chance to learn, no matter how much money they have. That’s why Codam has an Assistance Program — for students who need financial help during their studies.
What kind of help can Codam give you?
Our assistance program can help you during the Selection Piscine and after the start of your studies in our Curriculum.

About interest free loan options
If you are not eligible for our scholarships, an interest-free loan option from our partner TechMeUp can be a solution:
- You can get a loan between €2,500 and €7,500
- You’ll only pay back the loan after you find a job
- You don’t have to pay interest and extra fees
Are you eligible?
You can apply for financial assistance if you:
- Are 18 to 30 years old
- Live in the Netherlands
- Have an income of €44,000 per year max
- Do not yet have a university (HBO & WO) degree
Refugees (with a residence permit) can also be eligible.

How to Apply
Applying is simple; it will only take you two steps to apply. After the steps, our committee will review your application.
The deadline for applications for Piscine Assistance is three weeks before the first day of the Piscine. You will also have the opportunity to apply for assistance during the Piscine for the start of the Curriculum.

Am I guaranteed to receive funding if I apply?
While we wish we could support everyone, our funds are limited. We prioritize those with the greatest need who provide complete documentation.
How long until I know if my application is approved?
If you’ve submitted all required documents, we’ll process your application within 4 weeks.
