At Codam, your education is completely free of charge. You don’t pay for classes, books, or computers. We do understand that a full-time study can still be financially challenging. You need to pay rent, buy food, pay for travel, or a health insurance.
If you’re concerned about finances, Codam can help. We offer monthly financial assistance and housing support to young students who need this.

We believe that everyone deserves a chance to learn, no matter how much money they have in their bank account. That’s why Codam has an Assistance Program — for students who need financial help during their studies.
What kind of help can Codam give you?

About interest free loan options
If you are not eligible for our scholarships, an interest-free loan option from our partner TechMeUp can be a solution:
- You can get a loan between €2,500 and €7,500
- You’ll only pay back the loan after you find a job
- You don’t have to pay interest and extra fees
Are you eligible for a Scholarship?
If you meet all the criteria below, we encourage you to apply:
- Aged 18 to 30
- Live in the Netherlands (with an EU or Schengen country residence permit)
- Annual income of €44,000 or less
- No university degree (HBO or WO)
Refugees with a residence permit may also qualify.

How to Apply
It only takes a couple of straightforward steps to apply. After you’ve taken the steps, our committee will review your application.

2. Play & pass the Game
Complete the online game successfully.
3. Submit Application
Fill in the application form for the scholarship.
4. Provide Proof
Share documents confirming the information in your application.
5. Interview
Join a short, 15-minute face-to-face conversation.
6. Sign the Agreement
Confirm your participation and scholarship terms.
7. Start at Codam
Begin your learning journey.
8. Receive Your Funds
The scholarship amount will be transferred to your bank account.

Mark your calendar and make sure to apply before the deadline for your chosen program. Here are the upcoming deadlines for our Assistance Program applications:
- January Piscine: December 7, 2025, 23:42
- Spring Curriculum: February 23, 2026, 23:42
- June Piscine: May 3, 2026, 23:42

While we wish we could support everyone, our funds are limited. We prioritize those with the greatest need who provide complete documentation.
How long until I know if my application is approved?
If you’ve submitted all required documents, we’ll process your application within 4 weeks.
